Green Printing
Printing is a notoriously chemical driven process, with a misperception that the process was inherently destructive to the environment.
I led the charge to define and quantify our environmental initiative, communicate it through multiple channels and align these green efforts with our sales and marketing efforts to become the leading Green printer in the Northwest and cultivated relationships with notable names such as Church & Dwight, Tom’s of Maine and Sheryl Crow among many others.
In recognition of my work, the Spokane Clean Air Agency awarded Ross Printing 4 consecutive Gold awards starting in 2007, and the overall best company in 2009. This resulted in multiple Journal of Business articles, and a morning TV news appearance over 3 hours in 2010 with KHQ.
